There is very little additional information available about this piece. The latest full score edition is available from Alfred Music and J. W. Pepper.
This is a phenomenal piece! Students love playing it, and it challenges all the sections.
I remember playing this march either in high school or college, I can’t remember (I’m 76 so I have an excuse😊 )…. was it written for high school bands or do you know? I was a trombonist and remember that we all loved to play this piece because of such great trombone parts!
Only notable composition? Check out his march “Hickory Hills”
