Texas native Brian Beck is an active band director in the state with many published compositions to his credit. He wrote Liadov Fanfare in 2006. It is dedicated to the 2006-2007 Kennemer Symphonic I Band from Duncanville, Texas, directed by Gary Williams. As the name suggests, it is based on original themes by the 19th century Russian composer Anatoly Liadov. Follow the score while you listen to this performance:
